Populate Orders.CUSTOMER_REFERENCE field with REST API

Hello,

Is it possible to write a value into the Orders.CUSTOMER_REFERENCE database field when creating an order with REST API? From using Creates a ComboOrder for example.

Is it the same field as OrderReference.PurchaseOrder on an "OrderData" object?
