iMIS Rise - change datetime control

Hello, I'm using Rise Version 2017.

When I edit a content to insert/update values of a datetime field, it shows the datetime control, which I can select the date. It works fine, except that when I click "Today" the control just moves to the current month and does not highlight the todays date. It would be even better if when I click the "Today" button, the todays date would be selected.

Does anyone knows how to solve/customize this ?
