CsProduct and Kits (Collection of Items)

Hi,
I need to programatically duplicate and modify some items in our store.
It will be fine for general items, but I'm not sure how I'm going to handle production collections.
The /api/CsProduct endpoint contains a property called IS_KIT, but I'm not sure where to find the actual list of items, or the table where this collection is defined.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
